Trebol Hosts Year-End Soccer Celebration
Pioneer Elementary School, Prinicipal Miguel Villalon, had a vision to promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork and good sportsmanship for the kids at Pioneer during recess this past year,that led to a partnership with Sanchez Elementary school, and Trebol Soccer Club, to offer the kids playing soccer at recess at both schools the opportunity to participate in a Year-End Soccer Celebration.
To recognize the student’s efforts, Trebol, Sanchez and Pioneer Elementary Schools hosted a Year-end Soccer Celebration, a friendly and festive afternoon of soccer scrimmages/games and school pride.
Teams were put together for a day of special training opportunities, healthy snacks, and of course soccer! More than 140 kids received t-shirts and Trebol donated 100 pairs of shin guards so the kids could play. Trebol high school soccer players and coaches assisted in training, coaching and refereeing.
