Why Trebol

Since Trebol’s inception in 1996, the club has been dedicated to providing inclusive and affordable soccer in Boulder County. Trebol’s mission statement is:

“To establish and maintain an inclusive and competitive youth soccer program(s) for young people, and to provide an opportunity for families of all ethnic, racial, or economic background to pursue an interest in soccer and to develop ideals of fun, sportsmanship, and global citizenship.”

Fulfilling Trebol’s mission has paid great dividends. The club has steadily grown to more than 600 players and 40 teams participating in ages from U9 through U18. Competition varies from developmental/recreation to highly competitive premier-level teams. The Trebol Soccer Club is dedicated to providing quality soccer training in a positive environment to all youth in East Boulder County, and believes that absolutely no child should be prevented from playing soccer due to financial hardships. Therefore, the Trebol Soccer Club offers scholarships to families on a financial need basis. 

Whatever the level your child plays with Trebol, the important thing to know is that the club offers an uncompromising commitment to the development of every child on and off the field!

Trebol Soccer Club brings high quality soccer programs to the community at an affordable price. Our affordable fees make it possible for families to participate in a great soccer experience when compared to alternatives in the surrounding areas.

Trebol Soccer Club offers truly the best technical training programs in the area and an uncompromising commitment to Boulder County and the development of every child, both on and off the field. The Club ensures that each child learns the values of playing sports, develops his or her soccer skills, and understands the importance of working hard to be successful in soccer and in life. Trebol works closely with each child to make sure that each player is placed in an environment that will enable him or her to excel.

Trebol Soccer Club's goal is to create confident kids who love to play soccer. In today's competitive environment, that is sometimes a hard thing to do. Our soccer players will have fun, practice sportsmanship, improve skills, and build confidence.

Trebol Soccer Club is committed to being an inclusive club, offering scholarship programs to families in need. The Boulder County community is a diverse community of families from all ethnic, racial and economic backgrounds. Trebol embraces the idea that everyone has the opportunity to play for their local soccer club, and it encourages participation through outreach programs, scholarships and community partnerships. 

Trebol Soccer Club is a community-based, family oriented soccer club. Trebol Soccer Club hosts the very popular Amigos Program. This community school outreach program gives all students in 1^st through 5^th grade the opportunity to participate in an organized activity and helps the students become more active through the sport of soccer. The Amigos Program is offered at select BVSD elementary schools and is a 7 week commitment each fall and spring during the students’ lunch recess. The students are taught good behavior, teamwork, and all the characteristics of good sportsmanship. Colorado Health Foundation is a major source of funding for this program with a vision of making Colorado the healthiest state in the nation.

Players of all skill levels have accessibility to Trebol Soccer Club.

Trebol offers the best coaching in Boulder County for all ages and playing abilities. The Club believes in coaching development as much as player development. We believe that great coaching is fundamental to creating successful players and teams. Trebol’s coaches are carefully selected based on the level of competition and development of the team. The competitive coaches have soccer playing and coaching experience, while the developmental coaches are selected to help nurture and develop the players.

Trebol provides opportunities for teams to compete at various levels of play. Trebol Soccer Club may form teams to compete at developmental, intermediate or competitive levels in every age group (U9 – U18). Trebol works hard to find the right fit for each player and provide the right opportunity.

The Trebol Soccer Club hosts the annual Colorado Shootout the first weekend of October.

At Trebol Soccer Club one of our distinguishing traits is our club-wide expectation for good sportsmanship both on and off the field. The club values the reputation we have earned as a club with zero tolerance for negative behavior. This high standard is expected from coaches, trainers, players, staff and parents on the sideline. In order to help foster this expectation, TSC has joined the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) program. Other involved organizations include the Colorado Youth Soccer (CYS) and Boulder Valley School District. Positive Coaching Alliance is a national non-profit with the mission to provide all youth and high school athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience.
